Mike Rogers is the president of Ronin Consulting Ltd. A litigation technology consulting firm that specializes in helping lawyers organize and analyze their cases, in order to help them present their cases at hearings and trial with computers and other electronic technology. Mr. Rogers is an expert at tactical analysis and case presentation. He helps trial lawyers analyze their case in order to create the most persuasive case themes. Mr. Rogers helps identify and create visual presentations that help drive the theme during the trial hearing.
Before starting Ronin Consulting Mr. Rogers was a nationally recognized trial lawyer, lecturer and teacher. He is a licensed attorney in Illinois with a pending application for the State of New York. Mr. Rogers is an adjunct professor of law at Chicago Kent College of Law of the Illinois Institute of Technology where he taught Trial Advocacy and developed the first Litigation Technology curriculum in the country. In that class he teaches lawyers and law students how to use computers at trial. Mr. Rogers’ Hornbook “Litigation Technology: Using Sanction, PowerPoint at trial” will be published this year by Aspen Publishing. Mr. Rogers received his J.D. from Chicago Kent where he competed on the National Trial Advocacy Team and was a member of the Moot Court Society.

Tried 60 Jury trials to verdict as a prosecutor and private attorney.
As a trial consultant he has helped plaintiff's attorneys recover multi-million dollar settlements and million dollar verdicts, and has helped defense attorneys save over 75 million dollars in claims.

Wrote Litigation Technology: Becoming a High Tech Trial Lawyer published by Aspen Publishing. After teaching law for 10 years, realized there was nothing being done to train lawyers on using technology at trial. Researched and developed methods for using linear and non-linear software presentations. Taught the 1st class in 2001, the success of which led to a contract with Aspen Publishing.
Developed a curriculum for Law Students to Learn to Use Technology at Trial. Experience at State’s Attorney Office and in teaching led to experimentation with using new technology in trials. This learning curve Field was dominated by high-priced consultants. Developed computer presentations for all aspects of the trial process, including opening and closing statements. The technology has succeeded in conviction on 30 jury trials to date.

Managed multi-agency long term investigations involving local, state and Federal resources. Coordinated investigations with 70 officers per year.
